Have finally got a manager who cares...scratch this review as she started to show real colors after a few months. I'm sure it is coming to her from above. Grounds are not kept up, trash left outside compactor that leaves maggots, German Shepherd and Pit Bull dogs are in complex even though website states these are not allowed(I was followed by a very large Shepherd while I held my small dog to keep away from it, dog feces everywhere. It's just disgusting around the complex.
I recently moved from this apartment complex. And let me say, at first there wasn’t any issues. Towards the end of my lease, we spent two days in our hot home without air conditioning waiting on it to be fixed. We also had to call the fire department because of the carbon monoxide detectors going off. Come to find out, they were completely out of date and shouldn’t have been in service. My time at The Retreat at Henderson Lakes has been such a positive experience. This place truly became an unexpected blessing just when I needed it most, after the horrors of my previous apartment. But a big part of that is thanks to Ms. Eleanor. From the very first time I came in to do my paperwork( a frazzled bundle of nervous lol) to the day I moved out, it has been nothing but a blessing. Overall, I would not recommend anyone to live here! Eleanor Pace is the problem. She is extremely rude and never takes accountability for anything. During my move out inspection, she accused me of dumping furniture items at the trash area. These items had been there for days, and when I told her they were not mine, she responded by saying because maintenance said they saw me over there , and I could be fined.
