My wife had a 3/4 detached retina. Detected in the afternoon and surgery that evening. Keeps frequent follow ups and really did a great job explaining his next steps. His staff is extremely polite and efficient. Probably the best treatment by any Dr and staff that I’ve had the opportunity to work with in my 40+ years as an adult.
I was referred to Dr. Kim by my eye doctor as I had a retina tear. I received a call the night before that I would have to pay the full amount of the office visit, rather than my $30 copay because my deductible hadn't been met. The office visit is $162. Weird, but I paid it. I go through the exam and am told I'll need the cryotherapy and the office staff is checking my insurance. Dr Kim and Staff are excellent. Had to have emergency detached retina surgery on June 4th of this year. Surgery was a success Dr Kim took time to explain everything that I needed to know about my pre retina and post retina surgery. A very caring Dr and Staff. If you ever need to have any eye surgically done or have questions about your eyes that you need answered Dr Kim is the best friend around. I highly recommend him.
