I had an emergency surgery to repair a torn and detached retina. I flew to Oahu from Kauai and was accommodated by Dr.Wee and his staff. He was assuring, informative, and clear on communicating the process to me. I had a follow up procedure a couple of months later and I see him annually for check ups on Kauai, when he travels to meet with outer island patients. Dr. Wee and his staff are prime examples of professionalism in every way and I have my eyesight to prove it. I can't thank you enough.

My left eye had cataract implant detach and become lodged in my iris. The surgery Dr. Wee performed involved removing the existing implant and suturing in a new lens in its place. Although I was cautioned by Dr. Wee that I would most likely need to get prescription glasses once the surgery was done, my vision in that eye is now 20/20, which is a little better than it was prior to the surgery. Dr. Wee did a fantastic job!

Dr. Wee is a wonderful doctor because I flew in from a neighbor island and his office stayed open for me. He added me to his surgery schedule that evening since I need emergency surgery. I asked him if he’d be alright doing my surgery so late and he answered, “I’ll be at my peak performance by then!” That reassured me on so many levels. Dr.Raymond is a wonderful doctor who treated me for retina detachment.I appreciate the beautiful peaceful experience I had during my surgery,he has a great team. God bless
