The staff is nice but the way they run things is very uncomfortable. I was admitted without cause and overdosed while in the care of the hospital due to this. I’m 24 and a college student. They took my luggage and went through it all, stole a wax pen from me the day of discharge and put random peoples stuff in my discharge bag. Communication is not great and they are more about them set in their ways and being controlling over working with you for your best interest. This place is a nightmare, and no one should ever be sent to this facility they overuse and abuse medication like lithium, adatavan, and Risperidone and if you chose not to take them, they take certain privileges away like smoking from you as form of punishment so you have to either face withdrawal or take the meds you said no to, they have no care for your well being or the very few patient rights you have left. If I could put a zero i would, this is a god awful place, thats doesn't care nor is concerned about you and what you have going on. All you are is a paycheck to them. They over use medications that reach toxic levels when screened at a outside clinic and will with hold privileges like smoking if you don't take the medication forcing you to do so, which is violating patients rights.
