I am so happy I chose Restoration 1 of Lincoln Park to handle my demo and rebuild. I had just finished a complete remodel to my condo, when it was suddenly flooded by the unit next door and upstairs simultaneously. There was damage to my new drywall, new cabinets, and flooring. We experienced disaster at our condo when we had two major water leaks/claims within 3 days. Restoration 1 inspected the property, and had the estimate to our insurance company within two days and they began the work. There was major damage to walls and floors. They were able to complete all of the work within two weeks. The work is top notch. They kept us informed on a daily basis about the progress being made. Quality work. Quality people. And most importantly for my situation - consistent, quality communication. Paul and Sarah are terrific to work with, and their teams were prompt, respectful, and just plain good human beings. Will be using them for other services where possible! I cannot recommend Restoration1 highly enough! I unfortunately suffered significant water damage to my condo that required mitigation and rebuild. My insurance company (AllState) blankly denied the initial claim without thorough review and as a first-time homeowner, I was at a loss as to how to fix the issue. Paul, Sarah, and the rest of the team helped me through the process and dealt directly with my insurance company to get the necessary approval and coverage. We had a great experience working with Restoration 1 of Chicago Lincoln Park for our mitigation project in the Wrightwood area. Within a couple of hours after our inital call, Restoration 1 had a team out to survey the damage. They were both efficient and professional. They were able to start the project almost immediately. They also covered our stairs, furniture and created a contained area for the leak, which we truly appreciated from a health/dust perspective. We enjoyed our experience and would work with them again.
