Restoration 1 has service unlike I've ever experienced. They could sense the urgency in my tone when I called and they jumped on it! They also took the time to explain everything to me. I highly recommend using their services.
We called Restoration 1 to come handle a water loss in Mint Hill for a police officer who came home to his house being flooded. Restoration 1 sent Dan King who handled the call from the initial problem and until everything was back to new. Wonderful service. great explanation of what needed to be done and why, fully explained prices up front, gave me the bill to review before it was invoiced, and my insurance company (****) paid the bill in full several days later. A truly easy process, considering my entire kitchen ceiling fell down when the toilet in the hall bath overflowed after my daughter stopped it up. The worst experience ever! This company is nothing but a scam! The toilet in my upstairs bathroom leaked damaging the bathroom floor and kitchen ceiling below it. I called a plumber to fix the leak and they recommended their sister company Restoration 1 on ********* Drive in ********* to do the mitigation. I've been a homeowner for over a decade but luckily, I've never had an issue like this where I needed to file an insurance claim for repairs. I recently had a perceived water leak behind my kitchen wall and my plumber sent out Dan King from Restoration 1 of Charlotte. He immediately determined that I did not have a leak at all and relieved my worst fears! Dan was highly knowledgeable, prompt and answered all my questions. He went out of his way to explain everything and I trust his expertise immensely. He is, also, very personable and friendly, which is a big plus! I would highly recommend Restoration 1 of Charlotte!

This company scams your insurance company. Do not use them as they are scamers. The process explained to me from thier sales reps was as follows: 1. A sales person will come to the site to qoute the job, if you agree on the price then sign authorization to start work. 2. the Authorization to start work does not inlcude the verbal quoted price. My experince started in May of 2019. Sales agent came to my home and quoted me 1900.00. To which i agreed. They cut out 2 squares of drywall and treated one beam with mold product. Th... read more
