The food was delicious! I would have given 5 stars, but I was really bothered by our waiter's attitude. While he was attentive and checked on us a few times, it seemed as though he didn't want to be there. He never smiled and was not friendly at all.

I like this place from the bar to the servers to the food. They cover every aspect of a cool dining experience.
The food was awesome and the BBQ okra was exceptional. Loved the stuffed pancake. It was to die for.
The blue plate is awesome. I usually get the fried chicken or fried pork chops. Favorite sides are cheese grits and Vardamen sweet potatoes. Oh and cornbread muffin. Yummy!!
We were dressed very casually, having spent day on campus with daughter. Welcomed with open arms, seated immediately. The salmon was best I've had and shrimp and grits delicious. Service very good. This was our second visit and definetly not our last. One last suggestion, call or walk in and don't rely on open table. We were able to easily be seated on a Friday evening at 6:30.

Fried chicken is on point. Great atmosphere and service. I eat there often when I am in town.
