Love this restaurant, the beignets are on point! ��
This was my fourth time at Roux, normally a 5+ experience but yesterday there were some issues. My friend ordered biscutes and gravy and it came out cold, though we did appreciate that she was not charged for them it took time to get a new order. We also had someone order the yogurt parfait, which was a tiny bowl of yogurt with little to no gronola, no honey as noted on the menu and watermelon, honeydew melon and bananas. Blackened Catfish w/grits... fried oysters...that HURRICANE drink...#sogood
So impressed with this place! I called on Thursday to make a reservation for 7 for dinner on Saturday. They were able to accommodate my request and the food far exceeded my expectations! Crispy pig ears, hush puppies, shrimp & grits, beignets, all great choices & a nice list of cocktails as well!
It may have been a week day glitch however grits should never be soupy nor drowned with the sauce in a classic shrimp & grits.
