Five of us celebrated a birthday at Alma this evening. Alma's menu has 5 each first, second and main courses, and we ordered the entire menu. Then we tasted the plate in front of us and literally passed the plates around so that each one of us had 15 tastes, including quail, duck, lamb, lobster, shrimp, chicken, beef, several vegetables, at least 10 different sauces, multiple sides including faro, potato, grits, masa cake, polenta, etc. And finally samplings of three desserts and a cheese.. We had the best meal for my husband's birthday. The Ahi tuna was the best I ever had. I really recommend the wine pairings as well. We discovered a lovely Gamay that way. Definitely will be back.
In my opinion, way over priced for what you receive. Expect to pay 100 dollars for a two person meal. If you want to eat some deer, this would be the place to go. If you want seafood, this would not be the place to go . Thought I would share my experience so others do not get a overly priced bill to not be overly satisfied.
