Nic has been invaluable these last few years! He was crucial in helping me get my boat ready for the hurricane season the first year. This business is awesome. We were sailing from Charleston to Ft. Lauderdale and has engine issues. Trop Storm Idalia came in and we limped into St Augustine. With the storm around us we called Jay and he came out. He worked for a few hours, diagnosed the problem, and got it fixed. The next morning we tried to leave and the engine malfunctioned again ( not Jay’s fault). We called Jay and he was there in minutes. He figured out the issue and got us squared away. We came into St Augustine on a catamaran with one engine down. The day before Hurricane Idalia made landfall. Jay answered his phone, and arrived 2 minutes before he said he would, in the middle of an impending storm. Two and a half hours later he had resolved the problem and got the engine running. (Did I mention the storm?) The following day we had to call him again, and again he and Nick came out and resolved the problem in short order. Jay and Nic at Responder Marine are an incredible team. Between them both I think there is likely nothing marine related that they cannot repair, make, create or solve. Their promptness, dedication, follow-up and true concern for their customers is beyond compare in the boating world. We are now on boat number two that we have entrusted totally to their care. I highly recommend them to anyone with a boat need, large or small. They're the best!
