Just a few days before Christmas on a mooring in St Augustine, we lowered our tender to the water and our crane stopped functioning just as the boat got into the water. Some of the weight was still on the cable. Tried trouble shooting but without success. It was Dec 22 and we needed to be in Daytona Beach on the 23d. Responder helped me out on short notice repair a failed tilt / trim motor on a Yamaha outboard. Saved our family vacation. They were the only shop that was willing to even look at our boat and make an assessment same day. Highly recommend and appreciate their service and professionalism.
Nic has been invaluable these last few years! He was crucial in helping me get my boat ready for the hurricane season the first year. I had no idea how to begin; I needed to take my mainsail and headsail down and store them, secure any lines, etc. In the months before I put my boat away, he was a great resource for so many things on my boat. This business is awesome. We were sailing from Charleston to Ft. Lauderdale and has engine issues. Trop Storm Idalia came in and we limped into St Augustine. With the storm around us we called Jay and he came out. He worked for a few hours, diagnosed the problem, and got it fixed. The next morning we tried to leave and the engine malfunctioned again ( not Jay’s fault). We called Jay and he was there in minutes. He figured out the issue and got us squared away.
