Unfortunately this review is for Texas Health Family Care at Texas Health Resources with doctors Natasha Gupta and Vivian Lynn Jones in Plano Texas. I called to schedule an appointment with Vivian on Tuesday 10/18 and the appointment was scheduled for 10/23 at 3pm. I left work early (from Coppell, TX) to arrive to what would be my very first appointment with this practice only to arrive and be told that the unprofessional office manager had canceled my appointment without making me aware. This is the type of doctors office that makes people avoid going to the doctor even when they should. I’ve never been met with such condescension from staff at any type of medical office before Dr. Jones’ office. I will say the front desk staff is very kind but once you’re in the exam room that kindness is cut off. I don’t think a nurse or doctor’s answer should EVER be “well…that’s just common knowledge” to a patient’s medical question or concern. Today was my first visit to see Dr. Jones. She was attentive to the nature of my visit and gave me great tips. I'm hoping this will be my new found PCP. The only thing I did not like was the hour wait when I completed all required forms prior to the visit. I also arrived early to my visit.
