I received my Resmed CPAP auto set last July 2024. Normally, Resmed makes the best medical devices, but the Airsense 11 humidifier tank is too small to hold enough water to last the 8 hours required for restorative sleep. I’ve lowered the humidity setting, more and more, but after 6 hours, I automatically wake up to avoid smelling the burning smell, plus the dry air I’m breathing. This machine is ridiculous! The water tank is hard to open for old people with dry skin and/or weak hand strength, arthritis, etc. The water reservoir is too slick with no grab points to pry it apart and open it. There are no tabs sticking out on the top lid and there are no tabs on the bottom section to push on to open the reservoir. This is what old people go through trying to open otherwise simple to open products. No one ever thinks about testing their prototypes with old people, injured people, handicapped people, etc. They need an advisor like me... read more

I'm not pleased with the airsense 11 water tank. You'd think that while changing so many things in the upgrade from the airsense 10 that they would have improved the design for opening the tank. A tiny little tab on the lid fits so snugly against the bass that there's not enough room to get your fingers under it for a good grip. You have to pull the tab out and away from the base, and without a good grip it is very difficult to do that. And the bigger your fingers the more difficult it is. Resmed airsense 11 is two years old and no longer functions; It is worthless; However, the RESMED S9 was wonderful and lasted years over 10 years!
