I'm not pleased with the airsense 11 water tank. You'd think that while changing so many things in the upgrade from the airsense 10 that they would have improved the design for opening the tank. A tiny little tab on the lid fits so snugly against the bass that there's not enough room to get your fingers under it for a good grip. You have to pull the tab out and away from the base, and without a good grip it is very difficult to do that. And the bigger your fingers the more difficult it is. Resmed airsense 11 is two years old and no longer functions; It is worthless; However, the RESMED S9 was wonderful and lasted years over 10 years!
Unlike its "mother" company, ResMed Australia, ResMed USA/Canada exhibits atrocious customer service, inadequate product support, and appears completely unhinged. These issues have exacerbated following the Respironics recall, as many patients now have no choice but to rely on ResMed products.
Low quality equipment that is purposely designed to break so you have to pay them to service it. My dad is 81 years old and has Alzheimer’s. The machine consistently had problems when it was working, and then it totally broke. RM charged us nearly $400 to fix it and took almost 2 months to do so. Meanwhile we were paying for a loaner machine. We got the machine back, it lasted three days, then broke in the exact same way. They then took two months to tell us it is not warranted because it’s water damage purposely caused by m... read more
