I called Residential Funding because of their low rates. I spoke with Tom over the phone and in about 20 minutes, he had detailed out how he would close our loan as quickly as possible at the rate quoted. I think what made the process work well for me was, even though we had to gather a lot of paperwork, Tom set expectations upfront so there were never any surprises along the way.
