The Residence Inn Springfield South is a wonderful place to visit when traveling to Springfield. I always enjoy the breakfasts at the Residence Inn chain, but this breakfast is particularly awesome. The selection of food is great - so many wonderful options that everyone in my family enjoyed. The service was friendly and considerate - a great way to start my day. The front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean for the most part. I did find hair in the towels and wrappers left from previous guests. The air conditioner was adjusted when we left the room so it was 75 degrees in the room when it was 96 outside. Thank goodness I had a fan because I was sweating two out of the three nights which made sleep difficult. The mattress on the pull out was uncomfortable due to the springs in the mattress.
