The Residence Inn in Rocky Mount seems a bit dated, but it is very well-maintained. Overall, the place was clean. Because of my travel schedule, I checked in around midnight. Perhaps due to a hotel system issue, my room key card didn't work properly, which was a bit inconvenient whenever I had to go to the parking lot or the lobby desk. Other than that, the breakfast was decent and it offered great value for money.

I had a good stay at this hotel. The only problem I had was with the shower head being loose. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the customer service was pleasant, and helpful. Amanda, although new, had good customer service, was very helpful, and patient. I highly recommend staying here. I will be back.

This hotel is clearly outdated and in need of major renovations. I traveled to the area for work and usually like to stay at Marriott or IHG properties — I should have chosen IHG. The room was very dated, with old looking furniture and older TVs. I didn’t use the kitchen, but from what I saw, it was minimally stocked and outdated as well.
