Good points Spacious rooms and clean. Booked a suite for 5 people. Loccation is good with the White House 15 - 20min walking distance. Improvement areas:- Quite a bit of wear and tear with ripped wallpaper and rusted bathroom doors. After a shower the bath is flooded and blocked. Only 3 mugs and 2 tea bags for 5 people. Guest services had to be called twice to remind them to deliver some extra mugs and tea bags. No kettle is common. They expect you to make tea in the microwave. This was a very clean place. Definitely white collar. Only stayed here for one night for a brief visit. If you can get breakfast and valet included in your stay, you might as well because it will cost you a fortune. I think they said it would be $60+ for valet. We had a room up on the 9th floor with our 2 year old son. The pull out bed was great for him. The shower was crazy. We used the room service, which was pretty good. Overall we had a nice stay.
I'm honestly not sure why this isn't rated a 4-star hotel. It was incredible the entire week I was there. I'm a hotel snob and I can say with confidence that I would gladly stay here again. Checkin/checkout was a breeze, phone app works as your key and they keep the place locked down (elevators, breakfast, etc require key access). It's right next to the convention center.
