Stayed here for about 4-5 weeks, so a significant amount of time. Breakfast staff are incredible, very kind, clean, and friendly. The building itself however is a bit of a nightmare, there is this nasty mold smell that is constant throughout the floors— from time to time staff will use a room spray to aggressively cover up the smell but its still noticeable. Rodents, Broken Promises, and Rude Service at Convention Center Location I am a long-time Marriott member, and my stay at the Residence Inn - Washington DC Convention Center was easily one of the worst experiences I have had with the brand. I stayed from Monday to Friday, and on my second night, I discovered a family of mice living under the refrigerator. The handling of this health hazard was abysmal.
