My husband and I had a great little stay cation. We went to a wedding and need a place close by. There are so many places to eat and Sprouts was close by. We had a full kitchen with supplies if we wanted to make meals in our room. The rooms were very spacious. There were lots of options for breakfast including hot foods. Lots of sitting space in lobby area and outside too with fire pit. BBQ area too. Loved staying at Residence Inn and can not wait to stay here again.
My father-in-law booked a suite for a family wedding in Lodi. My wife and I arrived about an hour ahead of him and my mother-in- law with our infant son. We were hoping to get into the room ahead of them to care for our child. The front desk clerk said he could not check us in in the absence of the booking party, that it was strict hotel policy to not allow us into the room without my father-in-laws physical presence to verify his credit card and ID, even though they have his card info on file. I have been a Marriott member for well over 20 years, and chose this property on a travel from Southern California. Although the accommodations met our expectations, the front desk deserves a one star at best. The hotel was nearly EMPTY our entire stay. However, when asked if they would grace us with a one hour extension on checkout (from 12 -1), we were told there was no way to extend any grace period without a charge. Marriott's standards never miss! Great modern rooms, friendly service. I used this hotel as accommodations for my family reunion. They allowed us to host our meet & greet in the lobby. They also have great amenities, such as a swimming pool, 3 NICE grills in the pool area you can use, gym, free breakfast, and suites with kitchens that make you feel like your home. There are tons a shopping nearby. Great choice!
