I had a little time before an appointment so I searched for nearby coffee shops and the closest was Rescued Roasters. It was a little hidden, inside the Knight popcorn place on Forest Home, but street parking made it a breeze. They have many options but I kept it classic with an iced sugar free vanilla coffee. The coffee was delicious!! You won't be disappointed here! When I there they were getting ready to have an event for cats available for adoption.

The owners are the nicest people, and the story of how they bought and preserved Knight’s is just so fantastic! The cafe is cozy and filled with local art, and if you don’t want to look at that you can always shop for delicious popcorn! Can’t wait to visit and have another fantastic carrot cake latte in this charming spot!
Just stopped in here after coming up from Chicago to visit family and needing a quick pick me up. I knew coming in that anyone associated with promoting rescue adoption would be good people and we weren’t disappointed. Staff (owner) was extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered a delicious peppermint latte and a 20oz nitro cold brew (and I also had to snag some of their pickle popcorn) and was delightfully surprised when it came in at just $12. Coffee and popcorn were good! I love that it benefits rescues AND that dogs are allowed in!!!!
