This company is not only unreliable for picking up your trash despite it being out in time, but they will charge you $55 just to pick up your trash can after you cancel services with them. I would not recommend to anyone.

I've had a great experience getting set up with Republic Services. Very professional and personable. Feels great to have a personal contact to reach out to about any questions or concerns about our business Account. Highly Recommend. Cody has been exceptional to work with.

This company has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Their reps are rude and have ZERO follow up. I've been trying to cancel our account for 2 weeks. No one handled it the first time I called. A week later I was told someone would get back to me within 24 hours regarding the pick up. No one did. The 3rd time I called I was told I called at a later date than I did and my rep - which no one can give me a straight answer on who that is - had 24 hours to respond. Just moved to La Vergne, TN in 2024 and started my service with Republic Services in February and have already been charged over $350 between fees and service and it's only mid March. That is ridiculous, right? They charge you to drop off bins as well as an activation fee and the cost of the cans. Why do the fees cost more than my original service?? All trash collection is a monopoly anyhow. Called to discontinue services today due to a move. Found out that not only do they charge you $40 to drop off their trash container but also charge you $30 to pick up.
