Horrible Company: Today I cancelled my service with Republic. I did this after (2) two, 30+ minute holds. Even though I never received a written contract, it seems that their Service is not Pro-rata with my billing date/cycle. My bill comes due on the 5th, but they want to bill me for the entire month. They stated that it is in the contract. What contract, I signed up online via an app? There is NOTHING in the app reflecting a contract. Furthermore, they now want to charge me a can "Pickup Charge"... again, not in a contract... read more

Avoid Republic Services if possible. It has taken over 4 months and counting since I initially reached out to cancel. I was being charged 150/month for a 2 yard front load dumpster. A local company only charges 50/month for an 8 yard front load dumpster. The customer service agents would not process my request for terminating the agreement early for months, would not provide me with the final invoicing, attempted to haggle pricing and get me to stay but the lowest price I could get was 120/month for a 2 yard front load dumps... read more

Update: When someone does wrong I let them know about it when they do right I also let that be known. Brandon from Republic made things right! He explained that yes they do second attempts and he had my trash picked up on Saturday morning! I wish I would have remembered the lady's name that I spoke with because she needs some customer service skills and retrained. Thank you Brandon for giving me hope with this company again! I also have a commercial dumpster that the rates keep going up on and then you call and when they change your rates back you get added into another contract. I have called multiple times with no call back and called and told them to cancel service and was told that I had to pay 900 and something up front or they would not cancel my service. This company is a ripoff they have raised my prices and then will put you back into a contract lower them then wait a bit then raise them again just so the can put you under contract agai... read more
