Sadly, today. I heard from my family physician that Dr. Sharon Byrd passed away... I had an appointment with Dr. Byrd about 2-3 yrs ago and there was a note on her door at her home in Thoroughgood, indicating she was having medical issues. I wasn't able to reach her by phone or by note cards. I didn't know what had happened to her...Is it true that she died??? If so, her website should probably be taken down..SHE WAS FANTASTIC, VERY CARING AND FUNNY!!! I'm VERY sad to hear the devastating news!!
Dr. Byrd was my very first OBGYN Doctor back in 2016. I wanted to get in touch with her again, but her office number was disconnected. Did some research and found out crying that she passed away last year (Feb. 2021). I'll never forget you Dr. Byrd. You protected all women and was a great gyno. RIP 🕊

Dr. Byrd assisted us in getting pregnant when no one else was able to. That was 25 years ago and I will be forever grateful for her. She is an amazing doctor. Thank you Dr. Byrd
