BEWARE OF RENTING THROUGH THIS COMPANY!! Even with water running from faucets, heat on high, cabinets open, a pipe froze, burst and caused water damage on Christmas Eve, with 7 degree temperature. This company is sending me an invoice with accrued interest for structural plumbing repair and repairs to the wall and basement ceiling. My renters policy paid for my damaged property and although I have liability coverage they said there is no liability on my part. Their response? I have been in my property for several years and until recently the experience has been good. Now everything is blamed on covid when repairs are not done in a timely manner. My refrigerator is broken and 5 days later after notifying the office still no response. With food prices so expensive, I'm now informed the expense of my food loss is my problem.
I loved the potential of the property and planned on doing most if not all of the maintaining of the property because I know how to keep a home. On two occasions I reported to management an issue that I would have been happy to solve myself, but as per the contract, I am supposed to bring these issues to their attention.
