UPDATE:4/20/26 2 Violation issued by city UPDATE 4/3/26 Inspection done on 4/2/26 by 3rd party company hired by Rent Works. Findings, 3rd bedroom not legal due to no fire exit, windows in bedroom not large enough...a total housing code violation. Advertising for a 3 bedroom when it's a 2 bedroom...I think that's called false advertisement. Update: 3/26 Billing issues with the water bill are still not corrected after several talks with management. Mold is in the floors in both bathrooms due to a leaking old pipe from the toilet. No specialist was called to deal with this mold issue. A whole in the base of the chimney is crazy! Rent works continues not to return calls when messages are left and they do not follow up after talking to staff on action items. Great experience with Rent Works Property Management. They are responsive, organized, and easy to work with. I appreciate how quickly they address concerns and keep everything running smoothly.
This company is very unprofessional and unresponsive. I scheduled to tour one of their properties on 8/2 and was contacted by an agent as I was pulling up to the property stating he did not have the keys to show the property. However, there was a number pad door lock. The agent told me that he would call back to reschedule and never did. I went back on their website and rescheduled on my own. Horrible company! Complete scammers! I applied for a house 2 almost 3 weeks ago, next day received a call that the property was rented. Toured another property because I was told my Brittany I could transfer my application to another property. Was told it was successfully transferred and reactivated. Here it is a week and days later, No communication so I contacted the company. No answer as always, but received a message the property was rented yesterday.
