Save your time and look elsewhere - Darla and her team were nothing short of a complete nightmare to work with. They don't appear to value ANY sense of professional relationships or business ethics. They will promise a hassle-free management experience which couldn't be further from the truth. Her team lacks the soft communication skills necessary for this type of business and ceased our agreement based off complete misinformation - a true comical experience.
One word THEFT. While moving out of our rental we cleaned the house top to bottom the best we could to get our deposit back (or most of it). They ended up charging us for a NINE HOUR cleaning fee of $400 for extra cleaning tasks that should've taken 15 mins each. They required us to get the carpets professionally cleaned. We paid $230 to clean them. They charged us a second time for the same amount to clean them a second time. IF you want a property management company (pmc) to just collect rents, then Rent Portland Homes (RPH) is for you. However, if you require a service that claims a thorough check of potential tenants and provides drive-by and in-home inspections every 6 months, then RPH is NOT the service they purport.
