My parents called upon Renken Remodeling to completely redo one of the showers in their home to accommodate the accessibility needs of my mother, who had suffered a stroke. Enough already. It was funny the first week or two, but no more. I submitted a request on Angi 4 weeks ago to fix the diverter in my bathtub spout. I canceled the request 5 minutes later and did the work myself. In the ensuing 4 weeks, I have received at least one call and one voice message every day from Renken to remodel my entire bathroom. I feel like I am receiving calls in the Glengarry Glen Ross movie and Angi is the distributor of crappy sales leads. How much time do you guys spend overselling to stale leads?
Approached this company for a bathroom remodel estimate which they promised in two days and failed to deliver. However, they robocall me every single day and leave a robot voicemail despite my MANY requests to cease and desist. Stay far away from this scam company!!!
The reviews looked pretty good. So did the BBB rating, generally. However, this company has mastered the hard sell, and the lack of fee transparency. We received the attached proposal for $49,331.89. And we were told the pricing was only good that day, but they'd give us till Wednesday (5 days later). We asked for detail on the costs for the items in the proposal and were told no, they don't provide that. Renken was the second of three firms we met with.
