I'm really grateful for my time in the IOP program at Renfrew Radnor. The therapists and staff are wonderful, but what made the biggest difference for me was the community. Being with people who truly understood what I was going through made me feel less alone, and the support from both the group and the clinicians meant more than I can put into words. Horrible. First of all, there is a one size fits all approach to eating disorders. I went in there for sugar addiction which they knew and refused to take refined sugar out of my meal plan. I fought very hard. The groups are repetitive, the therapists are scripted and very inexperienced. There were 3 great therapists but not enough contact with them.
