(Updated) Renee was a kind and warm therapist, but she gives very definitive suggestions rather than creating a discussion with the couple to come up with solutions together, which I found just didn’t work for me personally. I think she means well, but if you’re in need of a reliable couples therapist who can help you when your relationship is at a crisis level, she might not be the best fit.

Renee is a fantastic counselor, and I really enjoyed working with her. She is very unorganized and does not use a scheduling portal for her clients, instead relying on making the next appointment at the end of the previous one. She had forgotten about a scheduled appointment, and it took over a week of one-sided exchange on my part to get her to send available times via text. At that point, we haven't met for over 1 month.
