Dr. Loyola performed surgery on a relative in September 2018 to treat a ruptured gallbladder. In October 2018, my relative was readmitted to the hospital for another issue and Dr. Loyola quickly scheduled an additional surgery to address this issue. I found the doctor to be a knowledgeable, kind and very caring surgeon who spent a lot of time answering questions from our large group of family members. Dr. Loyola is a wonderful doctor who genuinely cares for his patients and positive outcomes.

Hearing the news regarding Chemo therapy not being needed for some woman with breast cancer I immediately thought of my situation. Diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer for the second time I again returned to Dr. Loyola, he did a mastectomy which after I was assured to be clear. An Oncologist pushed hard for me to have Chemo. Thankfully with the advice of Dr. Loyola and another Oncologist there was no benefit to me. I have Dr. Loyola to thank for the last 10 years of good health. Thank you

Dr. Loyola and staff at Treasure Coast Surgical Specialists with out doubt are your best choices if you find you need a surgery. Dr. Loyola is the best physician that I have ever had treat me in all my 77 years. I was diagnosed with an abdominal aortic aneurysm. When the aneurysm was found through a cat scan I was referred to Dr. Loyola who immediately scheduled me for surgery and preformed the surgery the following day. He always makes you feel you are important to him and glad to see you.

My husband is a patient of Dr. Loyola's. I have to say I have never met a doctor so caring about his patients. Dr. Loyola has already performed one surgery on him for the removal of his thyroid due to thyroid cancer and will be doing another surgery in less than two weeks. His bedside manner is amazing and never fails to answer any of our questions. His office staff is also amazing. They return our calls in less than 30 minutes or Dr. Loyola himself will call back.

My 84 year old mother was taken to the ER with severe abdominal pain. Dr L0yola fortunately was on call and took my mom into his care. He did an emergency surgery that same evening removing a portion of her punctured bowel. One week later she is home from the hospital and she is thriving. He saved her life. He has such flair and positive attitude about him, you can't help but to like him immediately. A wonderful surgeon with a personality - it doesn't get any better than this!

Business response:

We strive to provide the highest quality in patient care. Thank you so much for sharing this story with us!

Rene Loyola, MD at Treasure Coast Surgical Specialists, was a wonderful recommendation given to my wife Debbie who took me there an operation that certainly prevented a stroke and probably saved my life. Everything was a wonderful experience. Ken Broseman, kenbrosema@comcast.net 5/8/2017

He was wonderful. I was so scared, and he took the time to explain and teach. As an ER nurse I deal with doctors and surgeons all the time. I chose Dr. Loyola. That should tell you all you need to know. When the nurses pick Dr. Loyola, you know he's good!

Didn't have an appointment with this doctor, but hole experience with their on-line system is simply awful. I had to cancel my appointment, but kept getting a text reminder at 2am, waking up. Called the office and talk about it, they promised to take care of it, the text at 2am, kept coming. I thought my (canceled) scheduled appointment supposed to be today and I won't receive it any more, I got my 2am text again "Thanks for coming". Very, very frustrating.
