Expensive but great Remi restaurant combines the rich traditions of Venetian This charming restaurant in Midtown West is a great place to take clients or friends--specially if you want to impress them. The Venetian cuisine is excellent--try the homemade pastas and risottos--and the decor and design of the place is first-rate, not to mention the service. But bring your boss--it's expensive.

Remi's is good but not a first choice except for convenience Convenient to Radio City and the theatre district, it is neither disappointing nor memorable. The atmosphere is quite nice, service okay, food acceptable, wine list good- all satisfactory, but nothing really special to bring one back.

Wonderful wedding! – I held my wedding here in June (Rialto Room) and everything was perfect! We held the ceremony in the outdoor atrium which had a really unique NYC vibe and the dinner/dancing were in the Rialto Room. The food was amazing (received nothing but compliments from my guests, even from some 'critical' family members). Though the restaurant itself is a little expensive I found the value for money for an event is exceptionally good for Manhattan. The staff were wonderful, esp. Oscar (Manager of that evening) and ... read more

not too bad – came here w/ a friend after work and was thinking trying out the R/week menu. the experience started off rocky but got progressively better. first when my friend and i got to remi, the maitre d ignored us for a good 2 min trying to organize her menu stack and did not even greet us or anything. after she finally got her area organized then turned to us. i told her we made a resv. and we were seated. she did NOT give us the r/week menu but ONLY the regular one. Only after i inquired about it from the waiter did h... read more

Beautiful Space – One thing that truly stands out about Remi is the restaurant itself. It's very spacious with high ceilings and a huge floor to ceiling window that adds a touch of elegance and awe to the place. The food is equally as exceptional and everyone at my table easily cleared their plate - we had gnocchi, risotto, fish and a veal dish and absolutely everything was top notch. This is a great place to get the family together or celebrate something special.

Everything it's cracked up to be. – My family is Italian (di Roma) on my mom's side, so suffice to say I'm a little picky when it comes to Italian Food. The service was immaculate (Alessandro and the rest of the staff were fantastic), warm, welcoming and very attentive (but not excessively so). They have a full bar, an admirably extensive wine list, and soda. The bread was delicious, the olive oil tasted earthy, and the food. My goodness the food. We had the Polenta with melted Fontina, Tuna Tartare and the Scallops for appe... read more

I rediscovered Remi 7 years after it fell of my radar. Wow, I didn't know that pasta could taste this good! I'm not kidding you when I say that I was delightfully surprised with every bite. From the apps to the main course to dessert: everything I tried was STELLAR! It's a rare & welcome occassion that I leave a restaurant in NYC thinking, "wow, that was worth every penny!" Perhaps more refreshing was the range of dishes. There are no complicated flavor combinations or frilly garnishes or overly structured presentations at R... read more
