We just purchased a custom 6 x 8 utility trailer with 3 ft sides, tarp and swing doors to haul our recumbent trikes...my theory is just load and got instead of all the disassembling and tying down I presently have to do...got it home yesterday after a 700 mile trip...although I probably could have gotten by with a 5 x 8 trailer by nesting the trikes side by side I wanted them to both be the same way so I only have to build one cradle.........without a doubt after looking the trailer over very closely, the haul home yesterday... read more
Just took my first long distance trip with the trailer i purchased in March. 700 mile round trip from New Orleans to Peninsula State Park in St. Joe Bay, Florida. It’s hard to describe just how good this trailer is. Cargo capacity is amazing, tie down very simple and tight, travels beautifully behind my F-150 (80+ mph was no problem.).
