The Reitz Union Hotel’s biggest selling point is its location you simply can’t beat it. It’s right in the heart of the University of Florida campus making it perfect for previews , orientation, enrollment, graduation, or any student related event. The hotel is a little dated and doesn’t have a pool. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean when we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Great hotel, friendly staff, I recommend!
We stayed here for Preview. All the Preview activities are in this building and it was so convenient to stay here. I was able to go back to the room in between sessions and during my spare time it was nice to sit out by the fountain and walk around campus while my student was in her sessions. They have several restaurants, the bookstore is right there, mini-markets, Subway Restaurant on bottom floor. Microwaves outside the Game Center to use, water refill stations on every floor.
