My wife and I have worked directly with Calia and team for 10 years. We live in CA and rent out our home in Las Vegas. Im surprised by all the negative reviews from both homeowners and renters. Obviously I cant speak to the renter side, but i can tell you that Reiss Property Management team is on the ball with keeping things clean and updated for the tenant. ZERO stars. Calia made the entire renting process absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! She has THE WORST customer service skills I have ever experienced. I am actually partially happy that we didn't end up getting the house we applied for. I will never have to deal with her again! I couldn't handle so many anxiety attacks from a single human being. She should NOT be working with other people. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!!!
If you want to lease out your house, beware of these losers. The reason your house sits vacant on the market for months and months is because they use an answering service as a go between, and then never return calls. So, everyone who calls is not being responded to even if they call back a few times, which means your house sits on the market, vacant, no income, etc. This has nothing to do with lack of interest from prospective tenants in the market place or your house. Calia and Erika are by far the absolute worst people to ever work for a property management company. Reiss Properties should really look at who they have representing them. Erika has absolutely no written communication skills and has an I don't care attitude. Calia is rude and didn't want to hear anything I had to say with my dealings with Erika. I would avoid renting from this company at all costs!!!
Renters beware! I could spent several hours explaining why this rental agency is horrible to deal with and employs rude people (Calia and Erika). Look, I get that Las Vegas is a tough town and they probably deal with many losers and squatters on a daily basis. But to treat everyone as if they were in that category is simply unprofessional and uncalled for. We paid our rent on time EVERY month with zero mistakes. Steve and Claudia are very rude. Michael Reiss is a nice guy, but has hired the two rudest, most incompetent, morons imaginable. These people scammed me out of $350 after stealing it out of my deposit. We rented from these people for 1.5 years. We had a 3BR house and we are single family. Before we left we spent a couple hundred to get it spotless and our lawn guy came (as he did every month) to get the lawn in order.
