We had a great brunch here! The shrimp on the shrimp and grits were delicious! The sauce on top was pretty good, but maybe a little tiny bit too much was being put on top (it was like having a sauce soup with grits). Regardless, definitely order it because it was delicious!!!!
Nate, the manager checked on us several times which was great… Emily our server was friendly and made great suggestions to the menu. We are regulars and hope and pray they bring back the mussels for and appetizers! We come almost every week… Nate visiting the table is a wonderful touch!
Speakeasy is a Really cool room. It got a little too crowded for my taste. Terrific bar staff. Worked really hard. Good 2 piece band Da Funk. Enjoyed. 5 star I really enjoyed the restaurant on Sunday night. Very special menu that is just wonderful. Nope. Good wait staff.
Got blindsided by a 4% price increase when the bill was presented. Every item on the bill was higher than the menu price.Example $5 glass of wine was $5.20 on the bill. The only way to avoid was to pay cash which I did not have. As a lontime retailer, I am aware of the new credit card regulations concerning extra credit card fees. However this place apparently does not abid by the law. Visa only allows a maximum of 3%, not 4%.
