Very chill and no pressure to buy. They need more help in the shoe department when there are more than 5 customers. However the gentleman there did a good job and help me find an on cloud shoe. He even went to a mannequin to find the shoe I picked in the color I wanted. Great customer service!!
Though I've never sat foot in the building I do need to explain it's significance. This building, formerly known as the Washington Coliseum, is where The Beatles would give their very first concert in America. (February 11, 1964) Thus, marking it as sacred ground. Lennon, McCartney Star and Harrison took a train from New York, during a snow storm to give the performance. Also of Note, The Beatles would no longer do tours as of 1966, thus, they would never be seen in performance, as a band, again.
It's an outdoors recreational store that does not allow dogs. Talk about contradiction here. They sell clothes and equipment for goodness sakes.
Great place if a little pricey
The staff here are so kind. After I bought a sleeping bag I sat down to stuff it in its compression sack(needed to make smaller to take it on the train) and a staff member stopped to help me :)
