Joel in the bike shop is the MAN! I work for another outdoor shop here in Glenwood Springs, but I needed REI's help with some Yakima pieces I have. Joel helped me on multiple visits that I ended up having to take, and every single time he was super cheerful; it felt like he genuinely wanted to help instead of sell me something. Joel got me hooked up with all the Yakima parts I needed, and although I rarely leave reviews, I felt his service was exquisite in every way. Thanks for the help Joel!
Gabby is normally great, polite and helpful on the floor. But the second I came in for a return, her whole demeanor shifted. She acted like my return was coming straight out of her paycheck, which is ironic considering she’s the one who sold me the item in the first place. I’m a member. I spend thousands of dollars here every year. The selection is limited, but I get it, we’re a small area, that’s fine. Went in for some sandals and got a hard sell on the membership. Got a coupon that lasted a month and then was worthless. I don’t just buy to buy. This place sucks !
