We had a huge project to accomplish, getting mountaineering boots for our daughter. Big price and big decision. She needs them for Ouray ice climbing and much more mountaineering accomplishments. A young man Christian in the shoe department was phenomenal! He listened carefully to how and what she would be using these boot for and recommend two brands that just happpened to be 2 that she was interested in. Just wish they had a fishing section ,, other than that great gear !!!!!
I’ve probsbly been to 15-20 different REIs over mybusars, dating back to 1983 when I bought my first “real” backpack. This one rocks! Friendliest staff ever! Everyone helped me! Everyone! Yeah, the gal running the bicycle shop area was blunt, but she was an expert, so I’ll go with that! Ben F? He was the BOMB! I bought new ski boot foot pads, new pedals for my touring bike, new cycling shoes, and more! My budget suffers after a trek here, but my heart soars!
