Yet You forced my kids who are medically exempt from wearing a face covering to wear face shields in your store even though I told the manager several times that they were medically exempt because they both have Todd syndrome and EDS. I was followed around the store by employee making sure that my kids kept their shields on their face. It was frustrating and embarrassing. I have been a member of REI for nearly 15 years and I will never shop there again.
yes, I had to wait in line in the hot sun, due to covid, but they handed out cold water. the staff was very friendly and helpful.
WOW. I am soooo impressed with REI. It’s hard to find all of the words because my experience was amazing! Last summer, I lost my favorite pair of Teva’s while on a hiking trip in Oregon. I was devastated! I found out that they no longer make that specific Teva shoe, so I was left to try and find a new outdoor/hiking sandal. I went into REI and found a pair of FreeWater’s on sale for $30 and figured I’d try them since they were very similar to my original Teva’s and they were... Continue Reading

Terrible customer service, Boise store manager was rude.
Horrible experience today with store manager, terrible customer service. Long time member/customer very frustrated.
It was great I walked in there found what I needed, didn’t need the help, but they were ready and willing without being intrusive, and I walked to counter had a good conversation with employees about my new Cotopaxi allpa 35 and paid and was happy to have the outdoor store there as I always have appreciated
The selection of outdoor gear is the best, the staff are amazing and they have the best warranty and return policies...even my 2 year old loves REI!
It was my first time experience of REI Boise Garage sale and it was really disappointing! REI Boise management handled it by lottery without any minimum communication to their customers. Looks like the only thing that was in their mind is how to do it easier to themselves. People had no opportunity to know ahead of time about entrance lottery rules and stuff showed zero flexibility. Unbelievable how unprofessional store management might be and how it can downgrade in my eyes good brand as REI!
