She created a private practice that only does specialty services, and refuses to transfer Medical records, instead she makes her patients send her a letter with $20 to request records, then she said she will mail the records to your home, but will not mail them to your doctor because “they get lost”. Dr. Rehder is the best gynecologist in the city of Pittsburgh. I just love this practice! Maybe you're doing this now... shopping for a gynecologist? Years ago, I would switch to another gynecologist just about every two years. They either didn't listen, had no patience, could not solve my problems, too many long wait times (some physicians had me waiting while they attended to problem pregnancies or deliveries), and the sometimes disrespectful office staff. She's the best Dr.Rehder cares deeply for her patients I'm not an easy patient to deal with because of anxiety but she knows just how too deal with me always taking time with me hurrying off to the next patient like some other doctors I love her dearly and wouldn't switch to another doctor for the world.
My wife was initially seen by Dr. Rehder in mid-2015. Scans showed a bad ovary, generating terrible cysts, as well as uterus issues. We wanted both taken out, were promised they'd be removed, twice; once in the initial hysterectomy, and the 2nd time on New Year's Eve just before our insurance changed. Both times doc claimed they stopped b/c they didn't have the right instruments. Wife still in constant regular agony every 2 wks as cysts form and pop. Only follow up was to point us at Magee.
Saw Dr. Rehder last month and I was very happy with her care. She does have books on sale in her waiting room that do have religious material, but I have also seen these books sold at Giant Eagle and Shadyside Hospital. She does not insert IUD's due do some complications that can arise with them. She suggested some other forms of birth control like the Nexplanon and the pill which I have and love it! I would recommend her to anyone she spends as much time as you need with her.

Dr. R lets her religious beliefs interfere with her treatment of patients. I should have walked out as soon as I sat down in the waiting room and noticed the circular rack of Jesus books being sold, which made me very uncomfortable. Physician's assistant inquired what my religion was, then tried to justify it in a very odd and circumlocutive manner. Doctor claims the office doesn't stock Paragard because it's cost prohibitive, but she seemed very reluctant to prescribe the pill too. NOPE.
