RecommendedTook my 9 year old Type 1 Diabetic daughter to the ER for complications. Dr. Smith in the kids ER was AMAZING!! Also Christy, Paige, Kristen and Rod in the PICU were the most attentive, sweet and caring group of nurses we’ve ever had!!
I was recently seen at the ER and admitted to the hospital Monday-Wed. From check in to check-out everything went smooth. I had amazing doctors and nurses who assited/took care of me. I usually go to pages to submit a concern or bad review, but felt that I needed to write a good review for this hospital and staff. Dr. Gonzalez and the team in the ER had admirable bed side manor. because you have doctor that take their kids to commit the theft of another person personally property you are now on Facebook and receiving negative post what are you going to do to fix this . what if the patient has a trump shirt on what kinda of treatment would he receive for her I wouldn't trust her

I had lapascopic Sigmoidectomy and bladder fistula surgery on Sep 14 this year. I am so impressed with the nursing staff at this hospital. Hurricane Sally hit on the 15th and I know that many of the staff there were without power and exhausted because of lack of sleep, their compassion and care was still top notch despite it all. I tested positive for Covid on the 19th. After the VA failed me (once again) West Florida did not. After leaving many voicemails and notes for my doctor at the Pensacola VA to call me they failed and did not return any of my calls. I went to West Florida ER this morning with covid concerns. First called the ER and asked the procedures for those testing positive. So I got scheduled over a week ago for surgery, went in on Friday for preop admissions and all only to go in day of surgery to be told they didn't have authorization and that they knew they didn't have it last of Friday and was hoping it would come through today. I call the surgeon office who then places blame on my doc office. I speak with my doc office who then gets it straightened out only for me to be told if they didn't have authorization by 11 I would have to reschedule. I've witnessed housekeepers put clean linen on beds they hadn't sanitized. I've seen housekeepers come to work intoxicated. The environmental services management cares more about getting rooms cleaned quickly than they do about ensuring quality control. It's not surprising that they speak to their team in demeaning and derogatory ways - even referring to Spanish speaking workers as the Spanish mafia and referring to religious head scarves as rags. I will definitely be looking for a new cardiologist and PCP.
4 days in a row with no hot water. And the only message we get is that maintenance doesn’t work on weekends. Time to call in the news crew. This can’t be sanitary for a hospital
