The DBT track was what I needed. I was recommended to try this track(program). I was resistant but the kind encouragement prompted me to try and I am so thankful I did. I would recommend DBT for all who need skills to cope & deal w/ life’s challenges.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience at the Partial Hospitalization and IOP programs, especially at the Northeast IOP location. Cannot recommend the DBT PHP program enough. The DBT PHP program is extremely structured. It's a modality that pushes you to find a way to be present in the moment and in your body, gain insight on your emotional responses, and provides some tools for you to cope. As someone who is generally highly reactive, untrusting, and disassociated, this has been life changing. The staff are LGBTQ+ friendly and cross-culturally aware. There are single stall restrooms. This program changed my life!!! Give yourself the opportunity to learn as you go and truly allow yourself to feel your emotions.
