As a longtime customer in good standing at Regions, I attempted to deposit a check and get cash back in the same transaction. Since I did not currently have enough money in my account to "cover" the $60 I requested back in cash, the teller denied the transaction... EVEN THOUGH I was attempting to deposit $710 in that same transaction. For a bank that promotes itself as your neighbor, that felt pretty alienating.
