The experience I had at Regional One was excellent. The nurses, my Dr. took excellent care of me and they made me feel comfortable even when it felt uncomfortable. I give Regional One 5 stars.
The staff were (with the exception of a few here and there) HORRIBLE! My dad spent from 10/4/14- 4/24/15 there. About 4 months longer than he should have because he was allowed to develop a Stage IV decibitus ulcer (bed sore). There should be a log somewhere (if they actually document) FILLED with my family's requests for the Nurse Mgr and Patient Advocate, etc. I could fill this whole page with complaints but I guess what I heard 20 years ago still stands: If you're in a life or death situation, go to the trauma center but ... read more
I been trying to see the Doctor for the past two weeks. I had an appointment over an hour later because I was curious. The lady at the desk told me she got me mixed with someone else. So I had to reschedule. Reschedule Doctor off that day. Reschedule again and still don't get seen. just a bunch of bull.
The staff was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly, while my room was exceptionally clean. Regional One Health has come a long way from "The Med" days and I will recommend it to anyone. Many thanks to all the staff who made my surgery and recovery easier for me.
