We paid cash for our new home. The process was super easy and worry free on the day of purchase. We were told verbally an email; they would acquire ALL permits to install our home. The home was installed with NO permits. Excuses from Regional Homes of Bonifay, who had turned a simple purchase into a nightmare. If you live in Alabama, avoid them. I paid cash for a mobile home 12/10\21 and still havent received went in two months ago and no work was done
This dealership is a nightmare to deal with!! We bought a mobile home from them last August, we paid cash for the home on Aug. 13, 2021. After it was paid for in full, they continued to use the mobile home, without our permission, as a model home! When we complained about it, they sent us a picture that the steps had been removed and they were no longer using it, we went over there and they were still using it, as a matter of fact, it was wide open on a Sunday when noone was even on the lot to watch it! Do NOT buy from Mccomb home center, the houses delivered are NOT what the model homes show. Trim is **** *****, missing blinds, back doors don’t even close, closet doors are put on completely backwards, nails are sticking up through flooring, NONE of the interior doors in house close correctly OR lock, cabinets are crooked and don’t close correctly, trim outs are NOT completed, skirting still not put on over 3 months after house was set. I should have gone with ******* ****** . This company is pathetic and have done nothing, but lie to us and fail inspections over careless things. My home was supposed to be done a month ago, but since they apparently don't know how to do their job they are failing the inspections on my house and that's prolonging my family having a home. Let me tell yall about ****. **** was hand picked and sent from the mobile home buying angels to make my life 1000 times easier. He never stopped working to get me in the exact home I wanted, even when I bombarded him with questions and concerns. And trust me, I'm not the easiest person to deal with. I’m lost for words how we were done by this company . We bought a trailer that was a repo .we were unaware the home had a lot of water damage and rotten wood . The trailer had bugs that took over a year to get rid of . I’m still investing money in this place because every time I turn around something is falling apart . We came to Regional Homes of Bonifay to purchase a Deer Valley home after experiencing some shady sales tactics from another retailer closer to where we live. We were an easy sell, we came in knowing what we wanted and we were ready to buy. Our customizations were itemized and we were promised a front porch addition to be completed by a sub-contractor arranged through Regional Homes of Bonifay. Business response:
The home was purchased March, 2020. At the closing the home owner is made very aware that the manufacturer is responsible for all warranty issues. In fact, Deer Valley has there own contracted repair service people. We will handled emergency issues such as water leaks or electrical issues. The home was delivered and set up. The county inspector (not in any way affiliated with Regional Homes) inspected the home and everything passed inspection. I was notified by email that I had a hard hit on my credit report. After several calls, I discovered without my permission my credit was pulled to finance a mobile home. The excuse I received was another customer with the same name came in to purchase a home. THAT'S A LIE, BECAUSE OUR CREDIT IS PULLED BY OUR SSN NOT NAMES. I asked for them to remove this inquiry I was told they working on it. I monitor everything especially now. I'm awaiting a resolution before seeking legal advice. 30 days!!!
