In addition to the abrupt loss of continuity of care, the agency failed to provide necessary documentation to support my disability case. When I disclosed depression, responses framed it as a matter of effort rather than illness. This reflects ableist practice that places the burden on disabled clients instead of providing appropriate support.
They told me I was on drugs and that they couldn't help me. What kind of place does that.... don't go here.
Helping my daughter and I reconnect and I'm also doing IOP through RCC and it's changed my life.
I got spoken to by the male psychiatrist in basically nothing but swear words!!! They put me on medication, then just stopped my meds and made me feel like I was going crazy because of the withdrawals I went through because they stopped them cold turkey. I was looked at like a crazy person because I spoke up and told the Dr to please stop talking to me in swear words and to please talk more professionally. Not a good experience with the male Dr.
