If you care anything about your loved ones you would never put them in this place the staff is uneducated and could care less about anyone in the facility. And God forbid you should complain the staff will retaliate by depriving the patient of whatever they need such as oxegyn. So before sending anyone to this facility think twice do a little research into these people and you will know what I am talking about.
Regency is a great place that has a ton of different activities/concerts/special events for the residents to enjoy. My grandparents moved in a few years ago. I love how much this Facebook page is updated because it uploads tons of great pictures of grandad enjoying the activities and special days Regency plans for them.
Just got in a few minutes ago from taking my cat out for a walk in his pet carrier/stroller around the grounds here at Regency. Took time to do a little dead-heading of iris beds to keep them blooming longer, which got me to reflecting a little about my time here at Regency. I have been here almost a year now and came with an attitude of it being a new beginning after a period of loneliness following the passing of my wife. The staff takes excellent care of my Dad. He and my Mom reluctantly moved to Regency Assisted Living, when taking care of each other and the house got to be too much. Dad freely admits that his only regret was that he did not make the move sooner. It's not what he expected. The staff is friendly and competent and they go the extra mile. Lots of activities keep residents busy.
My Dad is a diabetic & they were feeding him cheeseburgers french fries & fried fish!!!!!!!!!!!! His blood sugar was 350, when my 81 yr old Mom questioned them they said a little bit would not hurt! This is the craziest thing I have EVER heard of. Thank God he was ONLY there 21 days!!!!!
They were nice there but my friends mom kept getting the wrong foods she was supposed to have for just having had mouth cancer surgery, and her meds weren't always given properly.
