Had a manicure done with shellac to last three weeks on my holidays. Three days later they all started peeling off. Went back to explain what happened and all they said was sorry. Will never go back there again.
I’m unable to edit my previous review, so I’m posting another one. After the review I left yesterday, following a very unpleasant phone call with two staff members who acted like they had no clue what I was even calling about despite me explaining multiple times that I was unhappy, store manager Jenny decided to call me. I went to this salon for a manicure and pedicure and initially left satisfied, but unfortunately that feeling didn’t last long. About an hour later, I noticed the shellac on a couple of my fingernails had already started peeling. Normally, there is a buffing or prep step done to help the shellac adhere properly, and it was clear that step was either rushed or skipped entirely. I cannot come back. I want to preface this with my nails looked great; I have been in a small number of times and they are quality nails. Matching other reviews it does seem very pricey and misleading. Anyways, last time I was in I had a post-nail hand and arm massage that was so hard it hurt and my arm swelled up and bruised for days. I was too shy to say stop and I paid the price.
I have been going to Regal Nails Port Coquitlam for three years now. Cathy is amazing. She does all kinds of different pictures for me on my nails. The girls that do the pedicures are lovely great place to come love it love it love it.!!❤️
