What an amazing place. It;s hard to believe that this beautiful spot is only a few miles from downtown Chattanooga! I love to take photographs there as it offers a wide variety of environments and subjects. They also have excellent educational programs where you can learn about gardening, nature photography, and more. Rent canoes or bring your own and launch from their excellent launch area. Beautiful place, you can walk or drive the loop around the property. I went for the history tour which was fantastic. The professor was so engaging and I learned a lot about the indigenous people of the area. They also have some animals you can view. It is so peaceful there and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great place to take photos.
