If you ever looking for a reason why mom and pop stores are so important, this store is the perfect example. My wife had ordered for me a Hermes 3000 as bday/christmas gift. I received a call from the store though to confirm that this was the exact model I wanted. After a pleasant discussion with Schulze, I realized she had not ordered the correct model I wanted and I postponed this order. I highly recommend Rees Electronics/ Star Typewriters. The owner Helmut has been in the business for a long time and he is very friendly, enthusiastic and full of knowledge. I came in interested in finding a script/ cursive typewriter. He doesn’t have many of them but showed me the options and let me try them out. He spent time explaining how to use it.
