This was my first visit to The Reef, I was traveling down A1A and hoping to find a dinning option with ocean views when I came across the Reef. I did not know what to expect, I had not done any research or read any reviews. I arrived around 5:30 on a Friday evening and was greeted and sat promptly. Awesome Fresh catch of the day, grouper!! Very friendly staff and view!
Awesome place and atmosphere. Had a relaxing time on the deck overlooking the Atlantic with an ice cold brew and appetizers.
Great food, especially the seafood cuisine. Service was prompt and polite
Food very good nice service. Men's restroom needed cleaning especially the floor and the door was very dirty. Fixtures very old management not presenting a good picture.
Decent food. Dead atmosphere. Waiter had no enthusiasm whatsoever. Have they ever heard of using music to help with the ambience? Or even hiring staff who can show some interest ?
We love the Reef Restaurant. I had the blackened grouper and my wife had the citrus salmon. Both of us loved our dinner and we will be back.
My husband and I had a fantastic experience at The Reef. We were seated quickly, the service was fast and our server, Matthew D (in case there are more than one) was fabulous. He helped to make our dining experience outstanding. I should also mention that the food was scrumptious. Matthew recommended the shrimp imperial and, later, the dessert.
