would leave less than one star if i could!! dr. lindsey reed more or less diet shamed my four year old daughter. She did not ask about how/what foods we eat instead detected cavities and said we need eliminate all refined sugar, juices, milks, etc. from my daughter's diet. She went a step further by saying any pediatrician would agree with her and that my daughter should be snacking only on fruits, vegetables, nuts and cheese. I told her how inappropriate and problematic I found her dietary advice to be especially because we... read more
The dental assistant chipped my daughters front tooth filling while cleaning it and then the dentist came in and told me it wasn’t chipped when I brought it up to him. I go to check out and then the receptionist said the dentist had set up a treatment plan for the tooth that “wasn’t chipped”. Then they called me and told me the dentist was not going to fix it for free and that I could pay out of pocket or wait 3 more months for my insurance to cover the filling. My daughter left the office saying “I guess I just won’t smile ... read more
After waiting 45 minutes with an amazing hygenist we were able to see Dr. Reed. She was VERY condescending and rushed during our time with her. She was also very rough when working with our daughter. It was our 3rd visit with St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry and our first time with her. My husband and I will be looking for a new place. She should not be working with children or allowed to speak to parents. Awful people skills.
My 2.5 year old felt very comfortable. He went through the whole cleaning process and was even able to get his X-rays done.
“Dr. Lindsey” is not good in her role as a pediatric dentist. She was rushed, evasive and has no empathy
Not sure how “Dr. Lindsey” is credentialed to work with children. She’s rude, has zero empathy and is kind of arrogant.
I took my 4 year old son to see her recently and she failed to explain anything about the procedure to him before she hurriedly started it. She was rude and shouldn't be working with children. The entire time she seemed very oddly annoyed and flustered. It was odd because any other dentist would have had the common sense to not act like that in front of a parent. My son was scared and she kept telling him to be quiet and even had the guts to tell him that he was bothering the other children in the connecting rooms. Well too ... read more
Always so kind, patient and very thorough!
Dr Lindsey should not be a childrens dentist. Avoid at all cost unless you children think going to the dentist is fun. She has ZERO TOLERANCE for any kids who are nervous or apprehensive about getting a cavity filled. When my daughter was upset while getting a cavity filled and immediately told me that she couldn’t do the procedure because it wasn’t safe because my daughter was too apprehensive and recommended sedation. This is the same dentist who recommended the same thing for my son who has autism and didn’t want the ligh... read more
