Q: What kind of health center suddenly fires one of their best assets and neglects the needs of their clients? A: This one. Once upon a time, this rural health center had an excellent, much beloved acupuncturist. Clients who were in urgent need of holistic healing were able to find it here. Additionally, when we called the clinic, we were able to make, reschedule, or cancel appointments. No longer. New management came in, and made it impossible for anyone to get through to the receptionist regarding their appointments. Then ... read more

I was very pleased to find a new doctor that actually spent some time with me , listened to what I had to say and committed to helping me with my needs and issues. I felt like Everyone on Staff was genuinely there to make my appointment with the Doctor their number ( 1 ) Concern and Totally Stress Free. I want the public to know that if you try to file a complaint with Redwood Rural about your negative experience with a doctor, they will stop your health care and all treatments.
Absolutely no care will be provided through Redwoods Rural Health Center. Almost 2 years later and I'm still doing intake!?! Hope I don't die waiting for the Dr. Marshall! She's busy doing no harm... The funny part is how it's an open joke with these health care professionals that people go without care in Humboldt County! As I am trying to get help, I get told in the most dismissive manner, that the nurses would never go through Redwoods Rural, they go to Santa Rosa and Redding to get treatment.
